During the Summer months it is possible to organize touristic itineraries on the local panoramic train that stops on request at the small village stations. Bathing in the limpid waters of the nearby natural lake, Lago Sinizzo, which is fed by two potable springs is possible in the Summer months, and many locals enjoy sunbathing and recreation along its leafy banks. Over the valley is the famous Stiffe Caves, one of the main tourist attractions of Abruzzo which features enormous grottoes, high waterfalls and the canyon that precipitates from the high rocky plateau. The Caves, much studied by geologists and speleologists, are now open all year round.
